I was chatting to the beautiful Sarah Willingham this week, who’s just reached Gold in Young Living. She was sharing with me how one of the greatest blessings that Young Living has given her is a community of people she loves and is loved by. 

Finding friendships within Young Living is one of the many gifts our oils journey gives us.

I’ve often said to people when they start with Young Living that they have no idea of the wonderful adventure they are embarking on. They may think they are just going to discover some great tools to help themselves and their loved ones….yet as their Young Living adventure unfolds, so many other surprises await them. The community, the friendships, the camaraderie ….it’s one of many gifts.

Another area of discovery is with modalities inspired by the Young Living oils. This includes Raindrop Technique and Egyptian Emotional Clearing Technique. These modalities have given me such an appreciation for how the Young Living oils can impact us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Why Egyptian Emotional Clearing Technique?

Many decades ago, Gary Young (the Founder of Young Living) travelled to Egypt. He was on a visit to the Temple of Isis on the Island of Philae, when a strange and mystical experience happened to him. One of the temple guards kept coming up to Gary, and beckoning him to follow.

“I’ll show you what you’ve come here to see!” the guard said.

Gary was taken into a small room with hieroglyphs around the walls. He was invited to video and photograph the images, and when he later had them interpreted they described a very unique essential oil

oil anointing technique which was used by the Pharaohs, Priests and Priestesses.

Gary was so inspired that he returned from Egypt and created many of the emotional oil blends in Young Living that we love today. He also put together a simple anointing technique using 13 of these oil blends.

From that foundation and Gary’s teachings about the technique as it was used by the Pharaohs, I have created a more in-depth version of the technique which still uses the oils that Gary selected, and also incorporates energy healing and draws from many of the principles of that original technique, as described in the hieroglyphs.

What I love about this course…

This technique brings to the world a whole new way of transforming emotions, embedded in a beautiful and honouring aromatic
ritual. When our past participants are contacting me, they are so excited by their outstanding results with the technique.

The course itself is a complete training in the technique, and in how to work intuitively with essential oils and bodywork…..yet as the course has unfolded, I’ve been taken by surprise at the deep and life-changing journeys that have unfolded for each participant.

Egyptian Emotional Clearing Technique really lit a deep part of my soul alight. Often when I’m in my zone of energy work, I “feel” the flow of golden energy swirling and moving through my heart space, but my brain calls me a fraud.

One of the most confirming parts of the course was being so connected to and grounded with my client, that the vision I was seeing as I worked on her was the exact same vision she saw and described to me. Her vision was of a golden statue of Isis with a golden crown and golden wings, and golden energy swirling up like the DNA double helix.

Saying that, I have been a Raindrop practitioner for some time and recognise the power of the essential oil based therapies.
