Discover the silkiest shave ever – without the nicks!

1.03.2018

Do you shave? If so, you will appreciate the tips in this bulletin. We have two versatile shaving products in Young Living – one is Mirah Shave Oil for women, the other is Shutran Shave Cream for men.

Both contain our gorgeous essential oils, so you are guaranteed to smell divine after using these products.

But that’s not the only reason we love them…..read on for all the juicy tips on how to get the best shave ever, and reduce nicks at the same time!

Mirah Shave Oil for shaving

This is the most amazing shave oil for women. It’s so hydrating that your skin will stay smoother for longer – no need for moisturiser! And a tiny amount goes such a long way, so it will last you for ages!

Sure, it’s a little thick, so it can clog the razor. If that happens, just run it under high pressure water…but the great thing is that the oil in it seems to protect the blade of the razor, so your blades will last longer, too!

  • It’s the cleanest shave l’ve ever had! – Lisa
  • It leaves the skin soft and nourished and smells absolutely divine!!! – Kate
  • I don’t get red dots or rashes on my skin after shaving with Mirah – Donna
  • I only need a little amount, so it lasts for ages! – Brooke

Gemma writes: I used the Mirah Shave oil recently for the first time. I hadn’t shaved my legs all winter and found the Shave oil amazing in that my razor glided over my legs. I also noticed that I didn’t need moisturiser once I got out of the shower. And I especially love that I only needed a tiny amount. Not sure why I waited so long to try it!

Other uses for Mirah Shave Oil

Kate writes: I use it to tame frizzy hair, and even as a body oil because it smells so good! It’s the perfect travel size too.

Kylie writes: I love adding a pump or two to wet hair before I blow dry. It has stopped fly away hair and my ends feel much healthier.

Lisa writes: I use it on the ends of my hair and on my hands and cuticles if they are really dry. A great moisturiser. Smells divine too! A must have! Love love love it!

Alison writes: I used to use V6 oil with Frankincense after I had a shower. While I was still wet I would apply the V6 with Frankincense oil all over my body and in my hair and it’s just amazing, but the other day I ran out.

I started thinking what am I going to put in my hair. So I reached for the Mirah oil, which is actually shave oil, and I thought I’d give it a go. I actually put some on my body while I was wet and then I put some in my hair and it stopped all the frizz. It felt amazing and it wasn’t oily, it’s awesome.

Shutran Shave Cream – 100% man!

Shutran Shave Cream delivers an incredibly close, smooth shave. Combining hydrating palm, grape seed, and olive oils, naturally derived vitamin E complex, and mango and cocoa butter, this luxurious shave cream provides a frictionless glide to reduce razor burn and nicks. Even better, it contains uplifting essential oils including: Ocotea, Ylang ylang, Hinoki, Cedarwood, Coriander, Davana, Lavender, Lemon and Northern Lights Black Spruce.

Glenn writes: I have been using the Shutran Shave Cream for quite a few months now and am loving it. I have an extremely tough beard and have tried just about every electric shaver on the market, including the wet dry ones you use in the shower. None of them have been able to give me a half decent shave.

I have always used razors and tried many shave foams. The conventional foams from the supermarket weren’t that great for me so I used to use an organic soap bar with the brush for shaving, which was great depending on the brand.

My wife Kylie bought me the YL shave foam. The first time I tried it, I was not impressed at all. It was not a great shave, and I was a bit disappointed with the result because everything else I have used from Young Living has been great.

So I went back to using the soap bar. But then when we were going to Malaysia earlier this year, I decided to give it another go, as it is super convenient for travel compared with the soap bar and brush. My second time trying it, it was not bad, but not brilliant either, and by this time I had no other option.

But then by the third time using it – WOW!!! – my skin felt great after the shave and so smooth as well, and you only use a pea-sized amount like your toothpaste. It is a totally different shave to the bars and foams, as it doesn’t lather up that much at all.

So I just work it in over my face, and away I go. I haven’t looked back since.

To top it off my wife went to convention and brought back the Shutran Aftershave Lotion. I had a similar scenario with that too. The first time using it, it was ok. The second time is was great. The third time I realised I can’t live without it.

Shutran Aftershave Lotion

This 100% plant-based aftershave lotion is great for soothing and calming skin after a shave. Combining the Shutran essential oil blend with organic coconut oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, witch hazel extract, dandelion root extract, and aloe vera, this aftershave is non-greasy, moisturising and won’t dry out your skin.
