The Amazing Thieves Household Cleaner

2.08.2019

Ditch those chemicals in the home!!!

So many allergies, skin issues, sinus problems and other health challenges can be traced to chemicals used around the home.

Why would you continue using toxic, chemical-laden commercial cleaning solutions when you have a natural, eco-friendly and cost-effective cleaner at your fingertips?

Thieves Household Cleaner is an all-purpose concentrated cleaner made from 100% plant and mineral based ingredients, and it’s completely biodegradable.

It comes in two convenient sizes. The 1.8 litre size makes up 60 litres of all-purpose cleaner, whereas the 426ml size makes up 14.2 litres.

A capful goes such a long way, and when I’ve compared it to the cost of supermarket brands, the Thieves Household Cleaner typically works out more economical too!!!

For example, you can make up your own Window and Glass Cleaner by mixing 1 cap (10ml) of Thieves Household Cleaner with 6 drops of Thieves dish soap and 6 drops of Orange essential oil.

In Australia, this works out at $1.25 for 500ml (excluding the cost of the container), compared with $3.25 for 500ml of Windex®Surface & Glass Cleaner.

Even better, you get to enjoy the beautiful aromas of therapeutic grade Cinnamon Bark, Lemon, Clove, Eucalyptus and Rosemary essential oils every time you use Thieves Household Cleaner!

IMPORTANT!!!

As a common sense precaution, if you are using Thieves Household Cleaner on fabrics, carpets, dyed, porous, lacquered or wooden surfaces, make sure you spot test first.

Thieves Household Cleaner does it all!!!

Kayla Shields writes: I have just done an overhaul under my mother’s kitchen sink, and replaced all of these products listed below with Thieves Household Cleaner.

1 capful is all you need for anything!

This 426ml bottle we had (pictured below) lasted Ivan and I over 6 months. I just filled what was left with water and put a spray on the top of it, ready to go.

Floors

For a great floor cleaner, simply add a capful of Thieves Household Cleaner to your bucket of water.

Car

To clean your car, add a capful of Thieves Household Cleaner to your bucket of water.

Shower

To clean your shower recess and bathroom, add a capful of Thieves Household Cleaner into a spray bottle, and fill the rest with water.

To make a bleach, simply add a few drops of Young Living Lemon oil and 1/2 cup of peroxide into a glass bottle or an old wine bottle

All-purpose Spray

Add a capful of Thieves Household Cleaner to an all-purpose spray bottle, and fill the rest with water.

Piano

To clean my mother’s 100 year old Grand Piano, we can now use the all-purpose spray described above, with a squirt of the Young Living V6 oil to add extra moisture to the wood.

Air Freshener

The xeno-estrogen commercial air fresheners can now go in the bin, because the Thieves Household Cleaner can also be used as a air freshener. Simply adjust the spray setting to be more of a mist.

Oven Cleaner

The oven cleaner that is filled with carcinogenic ingredients is getting tossed, because cleaning the oven is now as simple as sprinkling on some bicarb of soda and spraying with the Thieves Household Cleaner mix, letting it soak for about 10 minutes, and wiping away. In these pictures below, mostly I just wiped with a cloth, and when I needed some extra help, I used a nail brush.

Thieves Household Cleaner + Bicarb of Soda

Holly van Vliet writes: Thieves House Cleaner and bicarb of soda are the best combo for cleaning the oven.

I never had this much fun cleaning before Young Living came into my life! Check out the difference in my oven!

Cleaning your carpets with Thieves Cleaner

Heather Jennings writes: One of my biggest challenges in life has been creating a chemical free environment for my daughter.

I would spend hundreds of dollars on items, only to find I had been duped by trick words, and they still contained chemicals.

Then Young Living came into our lives! Now I am nearly 100% chemical free and the majority of the credit goes to the amazing Thieves Household Cleaner.

Today I shampooed my carpets, and instead of the usual toxic cocktail I used two capfuls of Thieves Household Cleaner to each refill of water.

I can’t stop walking on the carpet since it’s been cleaned with Thieves Household Cleaner! It’s so soft and smells divine. Now Kate and the dog are able to sit on a clean, fresh floor and not inhale fumes!

Next time I will try it with just one capful of Thieves Household Cleaner and see how it goes. I am keen to clean my carpets more often now that I have a safe alternative!

Professional Carpet Cleaners

Artemis writes: I wrote this post back in September 2015, so the pic still shows the old colouring for the Thieves Household Cleaner bottle. Here’s what I wrote:

Is this cool, or what!!!! Back in September 2015, Jen Gallagher told me about a Brisbane carpet cleaner who is willing to use Thieves Cleaner in his mix. So he came and cleaned my carpets.

He was absolutely thrilled with the result, so much so that I gave him a bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner so he could do some experimentation at home. He wants to “test its limits” on different types of carpets.

I had accidentally splattered some NingXia Red on the carpet about 6 months earlier. He looked at it, and said “That probably won’t come out – the acid in the juice is likely to have caused a permanent stain”.

Well, to his and my delight, virtually all of it came out of the carpet. Completely awesome!!!!
