This week is part 2 of this bulletin, where I want to explore even more ideas for fabulous mixtures of essential oils to diffuse.
When I think about how fun it is to create our very own favourite mixture of oils for our diffuser (or to wear as a natural perfume), I am reminded of the ancient Egyptians. They revered essential oils, and believed that the more beautiful they smelled, the more favour their Gods would bestow on them. Essential oils were even more valuable than Gold! The wealthier families would create signature scents, competing with each other to best catch the attention of their Gods.
And there’s an underlying truth in this. As soon as we inhale an aroma (like that of Young Living’s therapeutic-grade essential oils), that aroma directly accesses the limbic region of our brain, which is the centre of our subconscious. This is also our centre of spiritual connection.
So as we inhale, we amplify our sense of connection to something higher than ourselves (whether you call that energy God, or Spirit, or Angels, or Nature, or Universal Love).
It’s no wonder that once we start using quality essential oils in our life, there’s no turning back. Their frequency uplifts us, and helps us to feel connected and whole.
