Have you used the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub yet?

27.09.2024

I have a confession to make. In our last post, I shared how I didn’t start using the Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak for months after it was released. It was only when I started reading the amazing testimonials from others that I was swayed to give it a go.

Why? Because I didn’t think I needed it, given I already purchase organic produce.

It was only once I started using it that I realised how wrong I was. I love the Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak, and never want to be without it.

I’m embarrassed to say I had the same attitude to the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub. I make up my own bathroom scrub with Thieves Household Cleaner and baking soda – why do I need to buy one? Don’t I have enough good things in my home?

Well, I was wrong….again.

I absolutely love the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub…..and it saved my beautiful linen trousers from disaster. It’s paid for itself many times over with that one benefit (as a stain remover), yet it has soooooo many versatile uses.

So let me introduce you to the wonders of this amazing product. Enjoy!

Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub:

Once you’ve tried the Thieves Range of household cleaning products, there’s no going back. Because they are super concentrates, these Planet-friendly products often work out more cost effective than store-bought brands, and they are just as effective.

But there’s a newer addition to the Thieves cleaning line, and that’s the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub.

Unlike traditional scrubs that leave behind unpleasant chemical odours and toxic residue, Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub is plant and mineral based, and safe for your human and animal family.

This powerful scrub is infused with Young Living’s Thieves oil blend, so you know it’s fortifying your home at the same time that it effectively tackles dirt and grime….and all of this with its gorgeous spicy aroma.

It contains:

Designed to be incredibly versatile, the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub is perfect for use on a multitude of surfaces, from cookware to cooktops, benchtops, tiles, grout, bathtubs, taps, toilets, splashbacks, barbecue grills…even outdoor furniture! You can also use it on items made from porcelain, ceramic, copper alloys, fibreglass, corian, brass, bronze and chrome.

It’s tough on messes, yet gentle enough for everyday use. But don’t just take my word for it. This is what our members have to say….

Soft on the skin and doesn’t scratch surfaces

Caroline M. writes: I have been neglecting the cleaning process in our house and there has definitely been some build up of grime as a result. So I really put the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub to the test today! I combined it with our Thieves Household Cleaner which I had diluted in my spray can.

I am really happy with the results. What an amazing, easy product to use. Just wet the surface, apply the powder directly or via a wet sponge, and scrub away. You will see the magic happen!!! Check out the pics below. Simply WOW!!!!

It’s soft on the skin, it doesn’t leave scratches on surfaces, and it’s so versatile. I even used it on the shower screen! It doesn’t contain chemicals like other cleaners, so it’s kind on our lungs and our breathing as well.

I’m so happy to add this one to our list of cleaning products for the build ups that can happen in the kitchen and bathroom. Next up I will try it on my oven!

It will tackle any stain…

Annabel P. writes:

The Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub is one amazing product! I use it for everything! Any stain I can’t get off with just the Thieves Cleaner I give this a go and it always works.

Here are a few photos of what I’ve used it on: my saucepan after it was used on the camp fire, and my laundry sink. I also use it on the kitchen sink, bathroom sinnk, showers, stove, oven – it works on them all! It’s even amazing on stubborn stains on white bench tops such as curry, blueberries, ice blocks – anything red!

Even stains on clothing

Artemis writes: I was on my way to the hairdresser, and didn’t have time to drop home to change, so I wore my beautiful Italian white linen trousers to get Henna applied to my hair roots. When I was carrying the bottle of henna back to my car, the lid came slightly ajar and henna (red permanent hair stain) poured onto my white trousers. Oh no!!!

I was in such a tizz, I did nothing about it! I honestly never believed that stain was going to come out, so I didn’t even take a before pic. But about a week later, I pulled the trousers out of the dirty laundry basket, scrubbed the stain with water and Thieves Foaming Hand Soap.

With the Foaming Hand Soap still over the stain, I sprinkled Thieves Kitchen & Bath scrub over the top. I let it sit for a few days like that, and finally put it through a cold “intensive” wash cycle.

To my utter astonishment, my white linen trousers came out with no stain in sight. Amaaaaazzzzzzinggggg!!!

Give some TLC to your stainless steel bowls and sinks

Kristy Anne W. writes: You’ve got to love our Thieves range of products!

My stainless steel instant pot needed some TLC…

I used our Thieves Kitchen & Bathroom Powder, and just my fingers to scrub. No gloves needed. Look at the results!!!

Even your oven will love you for it

Danielle C. writes: I made the Thieves paste in a bowl with warm water, then had a second bowl of vinegar. For this particular job, I used a kitchen dishes brush (with a hard bristles), dipped it in the paste first, and then the vinegar, then scrubbed! I wiped it off with a wet cloth and buffed with a dry cloth.

After a year’s worth of dirt and grime in my oven, the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub worked wonders! With just a little hot water, vinegar, and mild elbow grease, it turned into a thick paste that made everything sparkle again. I’m beyond impressed!

Margit K. writes:

The oven was not that bad, just a few stains on the back and on the sides. I also have the self clean function (hardly need to use it). But my backing tray was asking for a proper scrub. And voilá… here are your before and after pictures!

Sue P. writes: It was about time I cleaned my oven – thank you Artemis for the gentle shove!!! I first sprayed the oven with Thieves Household Cleaner to wet it, then sprinkled on the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub. On the vertical surfaces I put the scrub directly onto my scrubber, and sprayed it with the Thieves Household Clearner to make it wet before applying.

The Thieves Kitchen and Bathroom Scrub worked a treat!! Funny thing is my oven has a pyrolytic self cleaning function that I have never used, but just for you I used manual labour. And look at the results! Maybe ask for another photo in 3 months time to keep me accountable 🙂

It makes a great fabric deodoriser

Nicole Y. writes: I don’t mind admitting that I am the BIGGEST fan of the Thieves Kitchen and Bath scrub!

Want to know my top tip?

I like to sprinkle it over my mattress cover and let it sit for 15 minutes, then vacuum. It helps my mattress cover stay so fresh!!

Pet Friendly and Safe for Kids

Jenni C. writes: I love the new Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub. I had some in France in August and left it behind for next year’s visit, so I bought another bottle for my home in Perth!

My cat follows me everywhere and likes to jump into the bath occasionally for a drink (weird cat). I’d just cleaned the bath this morning with the Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub while she waited patiently for attention, and she jumped straight in as soon as I’d finished!

I love that I can leave her there and not worry about any toxins being ingested. She jumped out and went on her merry way, but I found her back in there upon my return a bit later. So now we can call it a cat treat too! Must be something interesting in there…maybe she loves the smell?!?

Rescue your hand basin from hair dye

Nicole B. writes: I know the purple hair dye is only a semi permanent, wash out dye but it still makes a terrible mess of my white basin. Lucky for me the Thieves Kitchen and Bath scrub cleans it up beautifully!!
