Here’s how you can help your friends with Young Living

21.10.2025

I expect if you are reading this, that you have fallen in love with something about Young Living. It might be an essential oil that has been life-changing for you, or you might have noticed all that extra vitality when you drink NingXia Red…or maybe you’ve felt the difference in your home when you’ve switched to the Thieves Range of cleaning products.

Young Living started as a very small family-owned company that was touching individual lives. Over the years it’s grown into a hugely impactful (still family-owned) company that ships products to over 100 countries globally. Young Living is the largest producer of therapeutic-grade essential oils in the world.

Alongside of the individual impact that Young Living makes through their products, Young Living’s foundation does charity work around the globe, helping those in need. Young Living as a company absorbs all the admin costs, so that 100% of our donations go to helping people in need.

Young Living is also involved in conservation. After all, where would we be if we weren’t also stewards of Nature (which gifts us with our beautiful oils)?

In addition to prioritising waste reduction and recycling programs at their corporate headquarters, Young Living focuses its conservation efforts on habitat preservation and sustainable sourcing through initiatives like supporting monarch butterfly habitats, donating to the Vital Grounds Foundation for grizzly bear populations, and implementing strict environmental ethics at their own farms and through their Seed to Seal suppliers.

We meet people every day who are in need. It might be:

  • A child who cries through the night (think Peace & Calming or Lavender oil)
  • An athlete striving to be the best they can be (think NingXia Red, Peppermint, and Sulfurzyme)
  • A teenager studying for their exams (think Lemon, Peppermint and Brain Power oil, plus NingXia Red)
  • An animal lover whose fur-baby is stressed from a change in the household (diffuse Transformation and stroke Valor along the spine or on the inner ear flap),
  • A person whose health is impacted by the chemicals they are using around the home (think Thieves Range)
  • Someone who is struggling financially and needs to generate more abundance (think Abundance oil; they may even be open to generating a supplementary income stream by sharing Young Living with others).

There are 3 simple ways to start:

In addition to containing a Thieves Waterless Hand Sanitizer and 2 sachets of our NIngXia Red super-juice, it contains 5ml each of Stress Away and Lavender oil. Both are wonderful for calming and relaxing. Add to the bath, diffuse in the bedroom, or apply as your daily aroma.

If you live outside of AU/NZ, check your local market for your Starter Bundle prices and inclusions, as these differ for each market.

This is the most versatile option, allowing you to choose whatever products would most suit them, eg. the Seedlings Range if they’re a new Mum, or select a combo of the products you know will benefit them the most (it might be some of your favourite products!).

If you live outside of AU/NZ, check your local market for your Starter Bundle prices and inclusions and any specials that might be on, as these differ for each market.

It’s so easy! Just head to youngliving.com.au (if you live in Australia), or to youngliving.com (if you live outside Australia, then select your country from that list).

Click on “Become a Brand Partner” (AU/NZ) or “Create an account” (UK/EU) or “Shop” (US), then follow the prompts to select the products for your friend, and set up their account using one of the top 3 options.

Make sure your friend keeps a record of their username, password and pin, as well as their account number (which in AU/NZ is generated as the very last step when the order is processed).

That places them in your family tree, and ensures you will be the person linked to their account. That means you can invite your friend to Young Living and upline events, and you will also receive a financial benefit from their orders.

Once you’ve helped your friend to order, reach out to your upline leader so they can check for you that the order went through ok, and that you are indeed linked to your friend’s account. They can also explain what’s required to qualify for commissions on your friend’s order. These commissions can either go as credits on your account to help pay for your own orders, or you can send Young Living your bank account details so the $$$ land directly into your bank account.

Young Living was set up so that it’s the people like us (the everyday product lovers) who benefit financially when we help a new person set up a Young Living account and order product that has a PV (point value) attached to it.

This is the most wonderful model for growing an income stream on the side, or creating an ethical business.

And I should know – I’ve been sharing Young Living for over 27 years, and for the last 18+ years it’s been my primary income source.

If you’ve lost touch with your upline leader, please contact me and I’ll find the best person to help you.
